Welcome! My name is Jamie Pogue, and I am an artist specializing in children's book illustration of all sorts.  I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. I definitely miss my days in Sarasota, though notably only during the winter months! At Ringling, I was fortunate enough to earn a place in both the 2007 Best of Ringling exhibition, as well as the 2008 Society of Illustrator's Student Scholarship Competition.

Currently, I am an active member in the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and have even been honored to provide artwork for two local conferences. (As a side note, if you are serious about being involved in children's books, I urge you to join their organization!)

Recently, I supplied artwork used in the IGN.com feature "Hyrule's Most Wanted," celebrating The Legend of Zelda's 25th anniversary. Check it out here!

I currently resides in Royersford, PA, minutes northwest of Philadelphia. I enjoy seeing old movies on the big screen, playing video games, and prefer not to take long walks on the beach. If I am going to the beach, I have a very steady cycle of "sit in my chair" and "swim in the water," mixed in with a bit of "eat a large sandwich."
